Weekly Fish Report
My weekly fish report started in 2001 and ran every week up until January 2013 with the exceptions of six weeks we missed due to hurricanes. At that time due to Mary being ill, and our need to travel for treatments I stopped writing them. Everyone understood why I stopped, but requested that if I had time they would like to see them again. I am now ready to start again and March 1-8, 2015 is the first of what I hope is going to be many, many more. I don’t push any boat, and charter company and I do not predict what is going to happen with our fishery. I just tell you up front how it was. It may have been bad, it may have been so-so, it may have been great for only one species, I tell you about it. I don’t do a fluff report and say things are great if they are not, you get the real scoop, the straight skinny about how it was the past week. If you like the report, you can go to www.captgeo.wordpress.com and subscribe. You will get the report e-mailed to you every week after I post it. I was also posting the report on 38 different web sites and am going to start that again.
The information I use in these reports are obtained in many different ways, some from personal experience, some from my clients and Captians who are out every day, and some from on-line subscription services such as Fish-Track, BuoyWeather and SurfZone as well as Terrifin and HurricaneZone. I, and only I, am responsible for any errors made, as I sift all this information and compile it.
