“Cat Face”” is a very roomy 29′ single diesel inboard powered boat with Capt. Chris Olascoaga on the wheel. Capt. Chris and his deckhand Omar have been working as a team for a very long time and are great with their clients! I do not normally book single engine cruisers, but this boat as well as the “Marisol II” are very well maintained and I have no worries about mechanical issues which is the reason I use very few single engine cruisers. If something goes wrong with the engine, it can be a long wait for a tow in. But like I said, these two boats are extremely well maintained and I have no worries about that. Since they are single engine, they use less fuel, and therefore are less expensive than twin engine boats.
The boat is $500 for an 8 hour day, that includes the boat, gear, fuel, crew, ice, sodas and water. You will also need fishing licenses (currently about $15 US for a daily), live bait (I suggest 10 pieces at $3 US each, or $30 total), and will want lunches (I can provide at $11 each, I order from The Giggling Bean, they are fantastic lunches) and I can provide national beer at a cost of $10 1/2 case or $20 a case.
